Using Charger Alert
Charger Alert is a simple and easy to use Android application.
On the main screen you have the option to Enable or Disable the charger Guard.
Choosing Disable will stop the application from starting when you plug in your device to charge.
You can select to have the Guard start automatically whenever you plug in your device.
Activate Charger Guard
While the Guard is Enabled, the application will start each time you plug in your device.
You will then be asked if you would like to activate the charger guard.
If you select No, the application will exit.
If you choose Yes, a notification will display on the status bar to indicate that the charger guard is now active.
Disarm Charger Guard
Before unplugging your device, make sure that the Guard is deactivated by selecting the notification, and choosing to disarm it.
If the device is unplugged while the guard is active then the alert will trigger, sounding the alarm.
If the alert is triggered, simply disarm the guard to stop the alarm.
Note: It is recommended that you lock your screen to prevent someone else from disarming the guard without your permission.
You can access the options below by pressing your device’s Menu button.
Alarm volume – use this to set the volume of the alarm at your desired level.
Delay alarm – is useful if you occasionally forget to deactivate the guard or unlock the screen before unplugging your device. With this option, you can set a delay (in seconds) before the alarm will sound, to give you a chance to deactivate it.
Sound delay warning – If you have set an alarm delay, you can play a warning sound to let you know that the alert has been triggered and the alarm will soon sound.
Vibrate delay warning – If you have set an alarm delay, you can have the device vibrate to let you know that the alert has been triggered and the alarm will soon sound.
This option allows you to purchase the upgrade to the full version of Charger Alert. This will remove any adverts and unlock all features.
